Bedding that keeps
the bed worth buying
The wrong pillow will undo a $900 mattress inside a week, and one stain will void the warranty on it. Bedding is the cheapest part of the purchase and the part people skip — so we keep it on the floor beside the beds, where you can try it.
Bedding on the floor
Pick loft by position, not by feel in the shop
A pillow feels different standing at a display than it does under your head for eight hours. Position is the reliable guide.
| You sleep on your | Loft | Height | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stomach | Low / soft | 2–3" | Anything higher arches the neck backwards all night |
| Back | Medium | 4–5" | Fills the hollow under the neck without pushing the head forward |
| Side | High / firm | 5–7" | Bridges ear to shoulder so the spine stays level |
| Combination | Medium, adjustable fill | 4–6" | Shredded-foam pillows let you remove fill until it's right |
Common questions
What pillow loft do I need?
Match it to your sleeping position. Stomach sleepers want a low, soft pillow or none at all. Back sleepers want medium loft to fill the gap under the neck. Side sleepers want high loft to bridge the distance from ear to shoulder — usually 5 to 7 inches.
Do I really need a mattress protector?
If you want your warranty to survive, yes. A single stain voids manufacturer coverage on almost every mattress sold in Canada. A waterproof protector costs about $39 and is the cheapest insurance in the store.
How often should pillows be replaced?
Every 18 months to two years for foam, annually for down alternative. Fold it in half — if it stays folded instead of springing back, it's finished.
What sheet depth do I need?
Measure your mattress depth including any topper. Standard sheets fit up to about 12 inches; anything thicker needs deep-pocket sheets, which we stock alongside the beds they're meant for.
